Young Shots Go Really Wild
Book now for the Royal Berkshire Shooting School’s ‘Young Shots Go Really Wild’ workshop
Stuck for ideas to keep the kids entertained during October Half Term? On Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 30 October, the Royal Berkshire Shooting School is holding a ‘Young Shots Go Really Wild’ workshop for youngsters aged 10 to 18-years old.
Designed as a comprehensive introduction to fieldsports, the all-day course starts at the Pangbourne-based school where the children will receive shooting instruction on simulated pheasant, learn about game species identification, the law concerning shooting and shotgun cleaning. The chefs from the Pot Kiln pub will also be on hand to teach the children about preparing gamebirds for the table. Then, before tucking into lunch, they’ll be whisked off for a guided tour of Vicars Game, one of the UK’s leading butchers and game dealers.
After refreshments, the children will be taught about deer management, stalking, seasons and will have the opportunity to shoot simulated deer. Each attendee will receive a certificate of attendance.
Cost £150 plus VAT per attendee. Numbers are limited.
