Strong relationships are key
At The Royal Berkshire, great company is as important as great shooting. Our success is rooted in the quality of our people and the strong relationships we’ve developed throughout the shooting world – from clients to gamekeepers, estate owners to gun makers.
Our frontline team of seven shooting professionals has amassed over 100,000 hours as instructors and more than 125 years of experience in the shooting and fishing business. Our support staff are equally important in delivering the service that sets us apart – professional with the personal touch.
All share the courteous nature and sense of fun that lie at the heart of lasting relationships.
Dylan founded The Royal Berkshire Shooting School in 1991, following formal education in conservation and land management. A countryman through and through, he still has the same enthusiasm for shooting as the boy who held his first gun as a 9-year-old.

Our host in Spain
Carlos learned to hunt on the plains of Castilla La Mancha as a boy, trailing his father through Don Quixote country in search of wild partridge. Having worked in partnership with the Royal Berkshire for over 25 years, Carlos hosts all our shooting trips to Spain and Mallorca. As charismatic as he is welcoming, Carlos brings his unrivalled knowledge and expertise to organising first-class driven partridge shoots – in the sunny, relaxed atmosphere of the Mediterranean.
