The Royal Berkshire Shooting Group offers a unique choice of first class shooting days for companies wishing to give clients and staff alike an unforgettable experience.

Full Day Invitation

We pride ourselves on the fact that many companies have held their annual invitation clay shoot with us for more than 20 years. This is a mark of the innovative nature of our events and the fact that every year we are able to offer something new.

Below is a synopsis of a full day. For groups of 45 or more, receiving exclusive use of the school and a 100% all inclusive package, the tariff is £199 + vat per person.

Guests arrive for breakfast of coffee, orange juice, bacon butties, sausage baps, croissants and Danish pastries. During registration guests will be asked whether they are novice, intermediate or advanced guns.

Guests are introduced to their instructors and divided into groups of no more than six per instructor, according to their shooting experience. Shooting begins, with the emphasis on teaching novice shots gun safety and etiquette – and achieving the success of hitting their first clays. Intermediates and experts are encouraged to improve their technique and marksmanship.

Guests return to the lodge for a midday reload of canapés, refreshments, tea and coffee, during which we make up teams from each of the categories of experience, prior to a fun competition.

The competition begins from a selection of stands and over 150 traps located throughout the school. As the finale, each team shoots a simulated pheasant flush, with 50 clays flying overhead in 3-4 minutes.

Lunch is taken at the lodge, with guests enjoying the menu of their choice. After cheese and coffee, it’s time for the prize-giving, when both the top guns and clay conservationists are revealed!
