The Royal Berkshire Shooting School will welcome the Femmes Fatales on Saturday 2nd May – bringing together ladies with a long standing love for shooting, with those who are keen to experience the sport for the first time. This event is specially tailored to meet the needs of complete novices through to the most serious of competitive clay shots.

Peter Jones CBE hosts his annual Enterprise Shoot Challenge

For the 8th consecutive year, TV’s Peter Jones CBE yet again hosted his annual Enterprise Shoot Challenge at the Royal Berkshire Shooting School.
Guests included fellow Dragons, Theo Paphitis, and Deborah Meaden, former formula one racing driver David Coulthard, as well as the great and the good from the world of business, who battled it out to be crowned Top Gun. The shooting competition was followed by a live auction hosted by radio, and television sports broadcaster Jonny Gould with fantastic prizes, including fine dining at London’s top restaurants, luxury weekend breaks and exclusive VIP tickets to Celebrity Juice.
The day raised a staggering £155,000 for the Peter Jones Foundation.
Really Wild Roving Day of the 2014 season

The Royal Berkshire Shooting School is delighted to announce that the last Really Wild Roving Day of the 2014 season will be held at West Woodhay House, near Newbury, West Berkshire on Wednesday 3 September. The Really Wild Clay day is £249 + VAT per person which includes cartridges and gun hire. The day consists of shooting over beautiful countryside over views of the Downs. The Royal Berkshire Shooting School hosted their second BBQ Shoot at Pangbourne, Berkshire on Tuesday 24 July. The Moons Marauders won the team event with a score of 272. The Top Gun was awarded to James Peters, from the winning team who scored 64. Nicola Shackleton was crowned Top Lady with a score of 39. The next BBQ Shoot is Tuesday 26 August.

The Royal Berkshire Shooting School would like to extend their congratulations to Ed Solomons, David Carrie and Jake Moore who were all crowned world champions in their respective categories at the world FITASC championship in Vale Das Pedras, Portugal over the weekend.
Enterprise Shoot Challenge in aid of the Peter Jones Foundation

On Wednesday 2 July, Royal Berkshire Shooting School hosted the 9th annual Enterprise Shoot Challenge in aid of the Peter Jones Foundation. There was a number of celebrities participating, including Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden and Theo Paphitis from BBC Two Dragons’ Den and British former Formula One racing driver David Coulthard. Almost 150 guests took part in the charity shoot at the award winning shooting ground in Pangbourne. After the shoot participants enjoyed a champagne lunch followed by an auction and prize giving. Over £168,000 was raised for the Peter Jones Foundation, which aims to educate, encourage and support young people across the UK who are at various stages of their lives or in many different circumstances and in a variety of ways. Peter Wilson supporting Centre for Social Justice

Olympic gold medallist Peter Wilson generously helped raise funds at a Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) event at The Royal Berkshire Shooting School yesterday. The CSJ is a think tank set up in 2004 by Iain Duncan Smith MP that aims is to “put social justice at the heart of British politics.” The Royal Berkshire Shooting School is delighted to announce £40,000 was raised via a fun game of heads & tails which will go towards helping the CSJ to tackle poverty and social problems. Alan Payne wins the 2014 Handicap Classic competition

Royal Berkshire Shooting School is pleased to announce 74-year-old Alan Payne has won the 2014 Handicap Classic competition.
Alan Payne has won the 2014 Handicap Classic competition with a score of 82 plus his CPSA handicap of 14, giving him an overall score of 96. Alan is now the proud owner of a Browning Heritage Hunter worth £5,600. The winner of the highest qualifying score on a Browning or Miruko is George Keys who scored an impressive 95. Together, Alan and George have over 120 years of shooting experience. Congratulations to those who have taken part.

Shoot at Hambleden Estate

The Really Wild Clay Company is delighted to announce an opportunity to shoot an 800 simulated bird day at the picturesque Hambleden Estate in Berkshire on Thursday 29 May. The day will replicate every element of a real day’s pheasant but utilise clay pigeons as the quarry.
